About Me
Hello! I am Hayleigh, I am a self taught traditional artist based in England, UK. I love to draw pet portraits, animals, and wildlife. From a young age I have always had love and admiration for animals as well as drawing and being creative, this is where my love for wildlife and pet portrait drawing has come from.I create commission pieces of pet portraits available in different sizes (A5, A4, A3) as well as collage style pieces (available in A3 only).
I have a pet cat, named Honey, and have always considered my pets as my family. I know and understand just how important they are to us and how much we love and adore them. This is why I put so much time and care into every single piece I create. I aim to capture their ‘uniqueness’ and what makes them so special. Being asked to draw them means the absolute world to me and I love to hear your stories and favourite memories of them.I can guide you through the process from helping you choose your reference photos to sending you updates of how your pet portrait progresses and turns into a beautiful drawing for you to love and cherish.

If you’re thinking of getting a special gift for a loved one or a gift to yourself, then why not get something unique and personal to be cherished for a lifetime?Prices start from just £50! Please see the buttons if you would like further information or to book your commission!
Please also consider that my commission work is a hobby, not my full time job. Therefore, commissions may take longer than expected to complete. Please be aware of this if you are wanting it completed within a short time frame!To avoid disappointments I recommend booking your commission at the very least 4-5 months ahead of the date you would like it to be completed for, this allows plenty of time to ensure that the commission piece is finished to a high quality and ready for you to cherish. Photo Reference Tips
• Try to take photographs of your pet in natural lighting (Outside during the day is a great option for this).
• Use a camera or high quality phone camera to take the photos.
• Ensure that the camera is fully in focus and make sure there’s no flash in their eyes.
• Try to take the photos from your pets level (eye level).
• Please do not change the format if possible as this can reduce the photo resolution.
Ultimately the decision is completely yours on what pose you would like and how you want your pet to look in the photos. You know what looks portray them the best!

Portrait Size Recommendations
Are you unsure on what size portrait to order? Not to worry, here are some recommendations!
A5 pet portrait
I recommend your order an A5 portrait if you would like a small drawing of one subject. More than one subject on A5 maybe disrupt the quality as they would have to be drawn on a smaller scale making it harder to get in every detail!

A4 pet portrait
I recommend your order an A4 portrait if you would like a medium sized drawing of one to two subjects.

A3 pet portrait
I recommend your order an A3 portrait of you would like a larger drawing of one to two subjects.3-5 subjects can be drawn on A3 on a slightly smaller scale too! I would recommend the portrait being landscape to allow room for this amount of subjects.

I also provide A3 pet portrait collages as an option. I only provide these in the size A3. This is because I believe due to the multiple images being used which are already drawn on a smaller scale, smaller paper sizes would not accommodate well and the quality would be disrupted.I recommend choosing between a minimum of two and maximum of six images for your pet portrait collage.
